Kristin Hall is a dedicated sustainability professional working to help drive Cleveland and the Northeast Ohio region towards a more sustainable future. Currently serving as Director in the City of Cleveland Mayor’s Office of Sustainability, Kristin oversees sustainability projects, programs, policy development, and grant administration for the City’s municipal operations and Sustainable Cleveland 2019 initiative. She is also supporting the Cuyahoga50 celebration, commemorating Cleveland’s progress since the infamous 1969 Cuyahoga River fire. Kristin is a lifelong Clevelander and passionate about reducing waste in our city. She is currently chairing the ZeroWasteNEO working group and has several years’ experience planning and executing zero waste events. Prior to working for the City of Cleveland, Kristin was the Operations and Human Resources manager for thunder::tech, an integrated marketing firm in Cleveland. Kristin is a LEED Green Associate, holds a bachelor’s degree in Biology from John Carroll University, and a master’s degree in Environmental Science from Cleveland State University.
